Hi all. I've started this because my friend Jim (Jimbo) has been using this site for a while and I've been very impressed by how there's a lively community of photographers sharing some smashing images from their parts of the world. I live with my partner Alan, and our chocolate labrador Ozzy, in the seaside resort town of Bray in Co.Wicklow in Ireland. It's been a lovely place to live for the last five years. We both work in Dublin city. I as a marketing manager for a global telecoms company, and Al as an interior designer. I'm 43 and Alan is 32. We've been together for going on eight years, and recently bought a house together. Built in 1950 it's a complete fixer-upper... BUT it has sea and hill views. We recently completed the first major renovation works, where we've had structural alterations made, walls knocked steel joists put in etc to built a large new kitchen which is FAB!! We've also had all the windows and doors replaced with proper double glazing and the entire house rewired and a new central heating system installed. We have no money now...a big beautiful house, but no money :-)

 

I have a number of camera's, but 3 of the 4 are very very old. Two box brownies and another with a bellows that folds out in front with a VERY early Carl Zeiss lens. I used be able to take pics with these, but can't get 620 film anymore. My current camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ30. I've enjoyed getting used to it, and have some smashing shots I'll be sharing soon.
